Beijing Business Daily (Reporter Liu Yang) On August 16, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued an announcement showing that Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products", "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and "Regulations on the Management of Recall of Motor Vehicle Emissions". From now on, some imported E-class, S-class, and AMG GT cars produced between February 13, 2017 and July 15, 2022 will be recalled, totaling 1,423 vehicles.

For vehicles within the scope of this recall, the low-pressure fuel pipe connection hose may age faster due to the high temperature in the area, affecting the tightness of the connection. This may cause fuel dripping and obvious fuel odor, and unreasonable emissions.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the connecting hoses of the low-pressure fuel lines for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, and install heat insulation devices on them to eliminate the hazards of unreasonable emissions.

This recall is an expanded recall of the low-pressure fuel pipe recall of S-Class cars in the "Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalls some imported and domestically produced cars" issued on July 1, 2022.
