From Sichuan's perspective, in 2023, Sichuan will export 19,231 used cars with an export value of over 3 billion yuan.
In fact, as early as the beginning of this year, Sichuan issued the "Sichuan Used Car Export Business Guide", which teaches companies how to do a good job in the used car export business. What are the advantages of Sichuan building a used car export base, which is not close to the sea or the border?
It is a transportation hub of the Belt and Road Initiative. To the west, there is the China-Europe Express, and to the south, there is the China-Laos Express.
Advantages of the automobile industry chain. Sichuan has a relatively complete automobile industry chain, including automobile manufacturing, maintenance, finance, logistics, etc., which provides a solid industrial foundation and supporting services for the export of used cars.
The scale advantage of the used car market. Take Shuangliu as an example. There are about 1,800 used car market players and more than 50,000 used car-related practitioners in Shuangliu District. From January to June this year, the retail sales of used car enterprises in Shuangliu District reached 1.26 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 163.9%.
Used car export is a very professional matter. It is not only about used car trade, but also requires export experience. The public service platform function of the base is highlighted. The relevant chain-leading enterprises are in the same base, which can achieve information exchange and resource sharing, and good car source information and good market information can be matched in a timely manner.
At present, the base has signed contracts with more than 30 chain leaders in the upstream and downstream of the national used car industry chain. In the future, it is expected to reach 150. The base is not only a window for overseas consumers to understand China's used car exports, but also a new benchmark for Sichuan used cars to go overseas for car dealers.
