In his speech, Wang Hong, President of CEIBS and Professor of Management, mentioned that the globalization of Chinese companies is now showing some new characteristics. The overseas industries are more diversified and they dare to explore emerging markets. The overseas paths are also more diverse, including overseas mergers and acquisitions, self-investment and supplier cooperation. Service companies in the fields of supply chain, logistics, digitalization, etc. have followed suit and the overseas industry ecosystem has become more complete.

Wang Hong said that from China's smart manufacturing to the "new three things" going overseas, from cross-border e-commerce to cloud services and the accelerated layout of AI industries in overseas markets, all reflect the sensitivity and innovation of Chinese companies in adapting to the trend of globalization.
Wang Hong emphasized that companies going overseas will face multiple challenges such as customer demand, differences in technical quality standards, and market acceptance. They must carry out research and development, design, production, marketing, and services based on the principle of "localization", learn to face cultural conflicts, enhance understanding and recognition of values, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results by driving local economic development or cultural construction.
