The cameras here can not only think, but also speak. They can accurately locate where businesses are occupying the road; accurately identify where garbage is overflowing; and shout out to persuade people to leave when they trample on the lawn... Such efficient and convenient management has become an effective measure for Chengxian to promote the construction and development of a new type of smart city.
Since last year, Cheng County has been constantly exploring new technologies and new applications, integrating advanced video fusion technology, big data analysis, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and other new-generation information technologies into the construction of Smart Cheng County, bringing "sleeping data" to life and building a "smart city brain" to provide scientific decision-making for urban management and allow big data to better empower urban management and development.
AI analysis of road operation
Occupying the road for business is a "knot" in urban governance. Many small vendors push tricycles and place them randomly, often playing "guerrilla" tactics with you, which is indeed a difficult phenomenon to manage. Now, as long as there is business occupying the road, the camera will conduct real-time intelligent analysis of the scene, generate various events, and aggregate them to the discovery center of the video fusion platform of the Chengxian Big Data Center. Through AI analysis, intelligent voice persuasion is carried out. After the persuasion is over, if the vendor has not left, the staff of the nearby Urban Management Bureau will receive information sent by the general dispatch of the video fusion platform and go to the scene for disposal.
"Cheng County's video fusion platform monitors business operations that occupy the road, overflowing trash cans, and random dumping of garbage. It achieves real-time perception and timely warning, and completely solves the problems of large manpower consumption, untimely problem detection, and insufficient patrol coverage in urban management." said Ma Wenxiu, a staff member of Cheng County Urban Management Bureau.
Dispatcher on-site dispatch
Walking into the command and dispatch hall of Cheng County Big Data Center, the dispatcher was busy checking the dispatch feedback processing results while contacting the responsible unit to send people to the scene for disposal. On the large screen of more than 60 square meters, the Cheng County video fusion platform has a pair of "clairvoyant eyes" managing every corner of the city. As long as someone approaches the river or steps on the lawn, the smart camera will automatically identify, issue an early warning, and kindly persuade them to leave.
It is understood that Cheng County's video fusion platform is the first step taken by Cheng County to use new-generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence in urban smart management. Through preliminary video management and data analysis, nine types of AI algorithms have been configured for the county's eight county-level units and 17 townships, including illegal parking of motor vehicles, occupying the road for business, fireworks detection, drowning prevention, lawn trampling prevention, garbage can overflow identification, and garbage dumping detection. Real-time intelligent analysis of business scenarios is achieved, paving the way for empowering industry application scenarios such as urban management and people's livelihood services.
AI analysis garbage overflow The smarter the city, the better the people's lives will be. According to statistics, since the Chengxian video fusion platform was launched in May, it has handled 2,672 cases of illegal parking, lawn invasion, garbage overflow, and road occupation, and completed 2,423 of them, with a completion rate of more than 94%.
The power of data is indispensable behind smart cities. Cheng County's video fusion platform effectively integrates 3,372 video resources in public areas across the county. Focusing on the four links of "aggregation, integration, analysis, and empowerment", it is equipped with functions such as video aggregation and sharing, video usage analysis, video transcoding and distribution, industry video empowerment, scene AI analysis, event intelligent scheduling, and security protection. It builds the "hub" for the management of Cheng County's urban operation video resources, and realizes the "one-screen overview, one-network management, and one-network collaboration" of smart city video resources, meeting the diverse needs of video resource scheduling and business use, and serving the empowerment of various application scenarios in urban management, giving the city the innovative ability of "being able to perceive, think, make decisions, command, and foresee", making urban management more efficient and smarter.
