In order to educate and guide the broad masses of cadres and the people to strengthen the concept of national defense mobilization and awareness of potential dangers, starting from August 16, the Jiaozuo Municipal National Defense Mobilization Office launched the 2024 "9.18" air defense alarm test and national defense mobilization publicity and education series of activities to build a consensus on caring about, loving, and supporting national defense mobilization.

"This is my first time to donate blood voluntarily. After seeing the professional techniques of the blood collectors, all my previous concerns were swept away." On August 16, at the voluntary blood donation point near Dennis Department Store in Jiaozuo, Yan Ruilin, a newly recruited staff member of the Jiaozuo Municipal National Sports Office, said.

Blood is one of the important materials for the first batch of national defense mobilization. In mid-to-late August, the Jiaozuo Municipal National Defense Mobilization Office continued to carry out the "National Defense Mobilization + Voluntary Blood Donation" activity, demonstrating the new era of civilization, fulfilling the responsibilities of national defense mobilization, and contributing "national mobilization power" to ensure the clinical use of blood in Jiaozuo.

On August 16, the National Defense Mobilization Office of Mengzhou City, together with the Huichang Office and the Emergency Rescue Association, organized a "National Defense Mobilization + Evacuation Drill" activity in Meihuayuan Community, Mengzhou City, with more than 60 people participating in the drill. While popularizing the role of civil air defense projects to the masses on site, the hand-cranked sirens were sounded, the masses were instructed on how to respond to different air defense alarm signals, and the masses were guided to enter the shelter projects in an orderly manner and psychological counseling was provided.

It is understood that Jiaozuo City's 2024 "9.18" air defense alarm test and national defense mobilization publicity and education series of activities will include national defense mobilization + volunteer service, voluntary blood donation, free medical consultation and haircut, self-rescue and mutual rescue, centralized display, atmosphere creation, county-district linkage and other activities. The goal and original intention of this series of activities are wide in scope, long in duration, new in form and practical in effect.
