"Guan Puk-hsueh pays more attention to the composition of color blocks in his expression. The color blocks in the picture fluctuate greatly, and the contrast of tones sometimes tends to be extreme. He is also particularly vigorous in his brushwork, and conveys a heavy sense of space in the picture through multi-layered painting.

She is also more intuitive in her use of brushwork, and is particularly free and unrestrained in smearing, overlapping, and splashing, without any deliberate description or restrained shaping. In this sensual-driven expression, her works not only have visual spatial depth, but also strengthen the tension of the plane, and exude a free and unrestrained feeling of life.

Her individual expressive brushwork has formed her own style, reflecting her excellent ability to control the overall situation and arrange the structure and rhythm of the picture with formal language. On the basis of expressive language, she naturally turns the language with Western connotations to the Chinese freehand language, realizing the fusion of the "writing" of Chinese art and the "expressiveness" of Western painting, which shows a contemporary Chinese oil painter's concept of integrating Chinese and Western cultures.
