It shows China's attitude and determination to unswervingly promote energy reform, expand high-level opening up to the outside world, and actively share development opportunities with the world, opening a new chapter in leading regional energy cooperation.

China will take this election as an opportunity to promote constructive and positive dialogue, ensure that the development direction of the Energy Working Group is consistent with the instructions of APEC leaders, ministers and senior officials, further strengthen coordination with member economies, promote regional sustainable development, and contribute Chinese wisdom, Chinese solutions and Chinese strength to the building of an Asia-Pacific community with a shared future.

The APEC Energy Working Group was established in 1990.
