IT Home reported on August 17 that automotive media carscoops published a blog post yesterday (August 16), sharing the latest road test photos of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 electric SUV.

name

IT Home quoted the media as saying that Hyundai plans to attend the Los Angeles Auto Show in November this year, and will announce its first three-row SUV with an electric power system at the show. This will be another appearance three years after the "SEVEN" concept car was unveiled.

As part of its 2025 model line-up information, Hyundai confirmed the new SUV will make its global debut "later this year".It will probably be called Ioniq 7 when it goes on sale, but there are also reports that it will be called Ioniq 9.

Adjustment

The production model exposed this time is still faithful to the concept car, but some adjustments have been made.

Changes include thicker pillars, conventional doors and mirrors, smaller wheels, and slightly redesigned bumpers and lighting.

Despite these changes, the SUV still retains its unique split LED headlamps and striking tail lamps around the rear glass.

power

IONIQ 7 is based on the same E-GMP platform and will likely offer similar motor configuration options. If we refer to Kia EV9, there will be three configurations:

  • Single motor rear-wheel drive version, maximum power 160 kW / 218 hp

  • Dual-motor all-wheel drive version, maximum power 283 kW / 385 hp

  • and a high-performance version with a maximum power of 430 kW / 585 hp

Hyundai may also offer two different battery options:

  • The first has a capacity of 76.1 kWh and a range of approximately 370 kilometers.

  • The second one has a larger capacity of 99.8 kWh and a range of more than 483 kilometers.
