"My father once described the fragrance of the grassland, which he could never forget even at the ends of the earth; my mother always loved to describe the mighty river running on the Mongolian Plateau, my distant hometown. Now I finally see the vast land and stand on this fragrant grassland"... I was still reciting Xi Murong's poems in my heart, and the announcement of "the plane is about to land at Hailar Airport" sounded in my ears. The weather outside the plane window was clear. Looking down from a thousand meters above, the prairie was like a huge scroll slowly unfolding. The Morgele River, "the world's first winding water" under the sun, was like a smart ribbon, shining with golden light, dancing on the vast grassland. Wild flowers dotted this green ocean, making the grassland colorful. The smoke from cooking and the leisurely cattle and sheep, the vast natural grassland exudes infinite charm, welcoming tourists from afar with a unique dreamlike feeling and a paradise-like scenery.

Tuesday July 30 Showers First acquaintance with Hailar

At around 2 pm, despite the fatigue of the journey, we visited the fascinating Hailar Genghis Khan Square. From afar, the sculpture of Genghis Khan riding a horse and whipping his whip straight into the sky stood above the 22-meter-high auspicious cloud column. The white clouds on the column and the white clouds in the sky seemed to merge into one. Genghis Khan faced Ergun, the birthplace of the Mongols, symbolizing a visit to his hometown. The sculpture was inspired by Genghis Khan's heroic spirit of conquering all over the world, and vividly showed the world the heroic figure of this grassland hero galloping on the battlefield.
