Today, as ocean-going operations become increasingly important, the navy, as an important pillar of national security, is directly related to the country's maritime rights and security by whether its equipment and technology are advanced or not. The engine, as the heart of the ship, directly determines the ship's maneuverability, combat radius and sustained combat capability. Therefore, the development of engine technology has immeasurable value in enhancing the country's naval strength.

In the early 1990s, the international military technology landscape was changing rapidly, and the Chinese Navy was in a critical period of rapid development. Facing the growing demand for maritime security, it became an urgent need to introduce and localize advanced engine technology. It was in this context that my country successfully introduced the UGT-25000 gas turbine from Ukraine. This move not only filled the gap in the field of advanced power systems for the Chinese Navy, but also allowed the Chinese Navy to move forward 20 years and opened a new chapter for the modernization of Chinese naval equipment.

The UGT-25000 gas turbine enjoys a high reputation in the international market for its excellent technical performance and design concept. This type of gas turbine has a maximum power of up to tens of megawatts, and has significant advantages such as high efficiency and low fuel consumption. These key indicators ensure that the ship can still maintain good power performance and endurance in complex sea conditions.
