On August 15, the black comedy "The Courage of Cowardice", directed and written by Yin Yuzhou, a 2018 film graduate from the School of Culture, Creativity and Media of Hangzhou Normal University, held its premiere in Hangzhou. The director and the main creative team appeared in the post-screening exchange, shared behind-the-scenes stories with the audience, and talked about their creative insights.

The movie "The Courage of Cowardice" tells the story of six people who are in trouble and confused in life and finally recognize their inner hearts. The three time clues are intertwined, echoing each other, constantly reversing and full of black humor. The script of the film was selected as one of the top 15 scripts of "Thirty Years Old" at the Zhejiang Youth International Film Festival, and was shortlisted for the recommended project of the Zhejiang Provincial Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television Bureau. The finished film was shortlisted for the Best Newcomer Award at the 2024 Cannes International Film Awards in France, and won the Best Newcomer Award at the 2024 Stockholm City Film Festival.

The film was co-produced by the School of Culture, Creativity and Media of Hangzhou Normal University (hereinafter referred to as the School of Culture, Creativity and Media). Professor Xia Lie, doctoral supervisor of the School of Culture, Creativity and Media and dean of the Institute of Online Literature, served as the producer, and Associate Professor He Mingyan, head of the Department of Film and Television Art of the School of Culture, Creativity and Media, served as the literary director.
Director Yin Yuzhou, a 2018 master's graduate in film from the School of Communication, was selected as a screenwriter and director in the Belt and Road section of the 28th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and a student of the first youth director training class.
