On August 15, the 2024 National Ecological Day Shandong Event and the Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Yantai Forum opened at the Yantai International Expo Center. At the main forum that afternoon, the list of national advanced technologies for energy conservation and carbon reduction was released, 7 green and low-carbon institutions and units were unveiled, and a signing ceremony for Yantai green and low-carbon projects and agreements was held. 14 agreements and projects were signed on the spot, which can be said to be fruitful.
At the meeting, Yan Yongzhe, deputy director of the National Energy Conservation Center, released a list of advanced technologies for energy conservation and carbon reduction in China. The destabilization coupled flat membrane method for zero-emission mine water technology of Yantai Jinzheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and the industrial waste heat quality improvement (phase change) high-temperature heat pump device of Binglun Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. were on the list. The release of advanced technologies for energy conservation and carbon reduction will effectively promote the development of green and low-carbon related industries.
At the event, a number of new leading "dual carbon" institutions and units made their debut. Seven green and low-carbon institutions and units, including the Yantai Expert Workstation of the China Energy Research Association, the Shandong Regional Industrial Collaboration Center of China National Nuclear Corporation, the Clean Energy Technology Workstation of Shandong Refrigeration Society, the Yantai Clean Energy Industry Association, the Yantai Public Resources Energy Trading Center, the Yantai Green and Low-carbon Comprehensive Platform, and the Yantai Energy Consumption Storage and Trading Platform, were unveiled to help promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
During the signing ceremony of Yantai green and low-carbon projects and agreements, six cooperation agreements and eight projects were signed, including the cooperation agreement between the National Energy Conservation Center and the Yantai Development and Reform Commission, the Yantai Regional Energy Storage Center Project, the Longkou Plastic Pallet Fully Automatic Production and Processing Project, and the Shandong Yantai Laiyang Nuclear Power Industry Base and New Energy Comprehensive Smart Energy Project. These agreements represent the key transformation direction of Yantai's green and low-carbon field and play a significant demonstration and leading role.
The signing ceremony is the beginning of sincere cooperation and the first step to create the future. With the deepening of cooperation and the implementation of the project, it will help Yantai City to show new achievements and achieve new breakthroughs in green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
