On the afternoon of the 16th, the China (Sichuan Shuangliu) Second-hand Car Export Base, Sichuan Complete Vehicle Trade Public Service Platform and Sichuan Second-hand Car Export Industry Alliance were unveiled.
Red Star News reporter learned at the scene that the base will be built into a used car export base with global influence. "It is expected that by 2027, the base's annual used car exports will exceed 30,000 units and the annual used car export trade volume will exceed 5 billion yuan."

It is reported that the China (Sichuan · Shuangliu) Second-hand Car Export Base is located in the Aokandama Hong Building in Shuangliu, Chengdu. It will build an online Sichuan complete vehicle trade public service platform and an offline China (Sichuan · Shuangliu) Second-hand Car Export Base public service platform, as well as "six centers" - exhibition and trading center, maintenance and preparation center, testing and certification center, warehousing and logistics center, financial service center, and vehicle service center.
According to the construction plan, the base will rely on Shuangliu District's advantages in opening-up platforms, trade and logistics, foreign trade exports, and automobile consumption to create a used car export base with global influence. "We strive to achieve a used car export volume of 1 billion yuan in the district in 2024, 2 billion yuan in 2025, and 5 billion yuan in 2027," said a relevant person from Shuangliu District.
After the launching ceremony, representatives of enterprises settled in the base, financial service providers, comprehensive service providers and vehicle service providers signed contracts collectively.
The reporter learned that the base has attracted about 30 used car export companies to settle down, and has initially built an industrial ecological chain for used car export. "It is expected that by 2027, the base will gather more than 150 industrial ecological companies."

Data from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce show that in 2023, Sichuan's vehicle trade volume reached 33.35 billion yuan, an increase of 52.6%. Among them, 26,260 used cars were exported, a year-on-year increase of 5.7 times, and the export volume was 3.74 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.1 times, ranking among the top in the country. Since the beginning of this year, the export of used cars has become a new growth point for the province's foreign trade.
