On August 5, FAW Toyota's "Prado Heroes Meeting" was officially launched in Linzhi, Tibet. At the event, the Linzhi government and FAW Toyota leaders handed over new car keys to the first 30 new Prado owners in the country, and also launched the user brand "Aipu Alliance".
This means that the new Prado has officially been launched and deliveries have begun. It has returned in four versions: the Cross-Country BX version, the All-Round TX version (5-seater and 6-seater versions), and the Wild WX version. The official guide prices are 459,800 yuan, 519,800 yuan, and 549,800 yuan respectively.
Since its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year, it has always been the focus of the hardcore off-road market. Derived from the 73-year history of the Land Cruiser series, Prado's "reliability, durability, and off-road performance" are widely recognized.
The "Off-road Thousands of People Test" with 10 stations across the country has also been launched in 10 cities including Beijing, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Kunming, Suzhou, Changsha, Hangzhou, Xi'an, Tianjin and Guangzhou. The new Prado delivered this time adopts the same GA-F platform as the Land Cruiser 300, equipped with a 2.4T 1MT HEV super hybrid system with a comprehensive maximum power of 243kW.
