It has been profitable for five consecutive quarters and its profit growth rate has steadily increased. Among the operating data of multiple sections, the revenue from other customers including express delivery and express transportation has performed well: In the first half of this year, JD Logistics' revenue from other customers including express delivery and express transportation was 44.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%. The ultimate express service has further consolidated JD Logistics' leading position and promoted continuous improvement in performance.

In the first half of 2024, JD Express will speed up the delivery time of personal express delivery. After launching the next-morning delivery service in several core cities such as Beijing and Shanghai at the end of 2023, JD Logistics has continued to increase the proportion of next-morning delivery orders to these cities this year, and continuously shortened the delivery time. After the release of the new express delivery regulations, JD Express has continuously expanded the scope of personalized services on the basis of door-to-door services, and continuously upgraded customer experience and satisfaction and promoted business growth by upgrading on-demand collection and dispatch services, expanding the scope of nighttime collection, promising "compensation for late arrival of air parcels", optimizing express delivery relocation methods, etc.

In addition, JD Express continues to deploy fresh produce production areas, delivering fresh fruits to all parts of the country with efficient and high-quality services. For example, in the first half of this year, JD Express focused on the layout of express delivery services in multiple fruit production areas such as lychees, cherries, peaches, and bayberries through measures such as couriers stationed in orchards to collect, setting up sorting centers in production areas, and upgrading packaging. At the same time, with the continuous improvement of JD Airlines' all-cargo aircraft capabilities, JD Airlines has opened all-cargo aircraft transportation lines for lychees, cherries and other categories. In April this year, JD Express innovatively launched the "direct sorting" model, opening up hub capabilities to the public. Merchant customers can deliver goods to designated sorting centers according to their own needs without being restricted by the site's cut-off time, or JD Express can send a special car to pick up the goods. The express delivery time is faster and the logistics costs are lower, which is very friendly to wholesale customers.

In the first half of the year, JD Express continued to improve its service capabilities. At the end of May, it upgraded the delivery time of more than 10 express routes from Wuhan to Zhengzhou, Changsha, Zhuzhou, Hengyang, Nanchang, etc., and upgraded the delivery time of many places in the four central China provinces to next-day delivery, further improving the express delivery time.
