The day before its release, the developer of "H2M", a fan-made mod for the much-anticipated "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered", said that he had received a warning from publisher Activision that the mod could not be released.

The mod development team, which was originally scheduled to be released today, August 16, wrote on Twitter: "Today, a member of our team received a ban from Activision Publishing representative H2M-Mod Project. We will comply with this ban and permanently cease all operations."

The mod was originally going to add 50 maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to the game, as well as new weapon attachments and camouflages. The mod also included an updated progression system and killstreak rewards from the original Modern Warfare 2. Many fans of the game are very excited about this mod, and some players have even expressed their determination to switch platforms to PC for this.

Its high level of anticipation has also affected the number of players of Modern Warfare Remastered. The recent popularity of the game has increased by more than 300% compared to a month ago, and the game has even been on Steam's North American best-selling game list in recent days.

Although many players have finally realized how bad Activision is in the comments, they will most likely still buy the latest "Call of Duty" year after year.
