In the challenging year of 2023, global trade flows have been tested in many ways. Geopolitical tensions, disruptions in shipping routes, and fluctuations in commodity prices and exchange rates have all had a significant impact on import and export data. According to data released by the World Trade Organization (WTO) on April 10, 2024, the total value of global merchandise exports in 2023 reached US$23.8 trillion, a decrease of 4.5% from the previous year. However, against this backdrop, China's consumer electronics industry has ushered in new growth opportunities due to the formal implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), although challenges also exist.

The full implementation of RCEP has provided new impetus for the export growth of consumer products such as small household appliances, and some regions are gradually becoming potential blue ocean markets. With the export of the "new three" products, China's consumer electronics industry has opened up new growth points. However,There is also a view in the industry that certain countries may have a "substitution effect" on China, which requires Chinese companies to maintain a high degree of vigilance and adaptability to ensure that they maintain their leading position in the fierce international competition.

In addition, with the deepening of the "Belt and Road" initiative, Chinese consumer electronics companies are also actively exploring new export destinations, such as emerging markets such as the CIS and Eastern Europe, which are gradually becoming important export areas for Chinese electronic products. Although geopolitical tensions and regional conflicts have brought new compliance challenges, Chinese companies have effectively responded to these challenges through flexible strategy adjustments and risk management.

Looking ahead, we are optimistic about the development prospects of China's consumer electronics industry. We expect Chinese companies to continue to leverage their advantages in innovation, quality and technology to bring more high-quality electronic products to global consumers. At the same time, we also believe that China's consumer electronics industry can continue to provide fresh business ideas and solutions, injecting new vitality into the global business environment.
