Building an ecological civilization is a long-term plan that concerns the well-being of the people and the future of the nation, and low-carbon development is one of the specific means to promote the construction of ecological civilization. By reducing carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, and promoting clean energy, low-carbon development can effectively reduce environmental pollution and alleviate climate change problems, thus laying the foundation for the construction of ecological civilization. Since Hangzhou was listed as a national carbon peak pilot city, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission has actively carried out related work, and all walks of life in the city have actively responded. In the process of practice, Hangzhou's "dual carbon" digital empowerment action has made positive progress, the energy structure has been continuously optimized, and a group of green and low-carbon development experiences and models represented by NetEase Tiangong have been initially formed.
The event also issued a recruitment order for the fourth Hangzhou Ecological Civilization Young Anchors, "Beautiful Hangzhou Sunshine Boys".
