On August 15, the China Aviation Science Conference and the 8th National Youth Drone Competition with the theme of "Dreaming in the New Era of Space and Glowing in the Mountain City to the Future" opened at the Chongqing Nanping International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event covers seven series of activities, including the opening ceremony of the conference, the 2024 China Aviation Science Exhibition and the China (Chongqing) Low-altitude Economic Industry Expo, the 2nd China (Chongqing) Aviation and Aerospace Business, Travel, Culture and Consumption Festival, and the Liangping branch venue, aiming to promote the innovative development of drone technology, promote the enthusiasm of young people to learn artificial intelligence, and contribute to the cultivation of aviation innovation reserve talents and the improvement of the public's awareness of the aerospace field. At the Nanping Convention and Exhibition Center, the Liangping Exhibition Hall was unveiled at booth T19 as one of the many featured exhibition halls of the China (Chongqing) Low-Altitude Economic Industry Expo. It is understood that the design of the Liangping Exhibition Hall is an extension of the "flying" shape, combined with some detailed designs of the aircraft cabin door and apron. The entire exhibition hall is simple and elegant while showing a full sense of technology.
In terms of exhibition content, the Liangping exhibition hall will showcase Liangping’s three beautiful city business cards in three exhibition areas - the first exhibition hall focuses on Liangping’s low-altitude economy, focusing on displaying the unmanned aircraft of Ehang AAV, which is the focus of Liangping District, and Liangping’s related policies for developing the low-altitude economy; the second exhibition area focuses on the capital of pre-prepared meals in western China, focusing on displaying the industrial park planning map, ecological map, some products of key enterprises and intelligent cooking robots; the third exhibition area focuses on the international wetland city, focusing on displaying Liangping’s beautiful business card - the pleasant scenery of Shuanggui Lake National Wetland Park.
During the question-and-answer session at the opening ceremony, Yin Hubei, member of the Liangping District Party Committee and deputy district mayor, gave a brief introduction to Liangping's development of the low-altitude economy.
Yin Hubei introduced that Liangping District seized the major opportunity of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to "develop strategic emerging industries of low-altitude economy", conscientiously implemented the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to make "aerospace industry" a characteristic industry of Liangping, and made full use of its own good aviation conditions, rich low-altitude scenes, solid industrial foundation and profound aviation culture, and determined the "1573" ideas and measures for the high-quality development of low-altitude economy.
"1" means one goal, to build a low-altitude city in the west. At present, Liangping District is committed to building the local area into a low-altitude industry comprehensive service area, a low-altitude manufacturing bearing area, a low-altitude application pioneer area, a low-altitude cultural tourism vitality area and a regional general aviation logistics hub by vigorously developing aviation manufacturing, aviation logistics, aviation culture and tourism and aviation service industry systems.
"5, 7" means building an aviation industry ecological system of "five centers and seven platforms". Liangping insists on improving the low-altitude economic industry ecology by improving the industrial chain, optimizing the service chain, and enhancing the value chain, accelerating the construction of flight service centers, inspection and testing centers, test flight centers, airworthiness certification centers, and unmanned system data centers, and making every effort to build functional platforms such as public affairs services, mountain drone application demonstrations, low-altitude exhibitions and trade, popular science research bases, sports flights, low-altitude logistics and transportation, and flying people's homes, focusing on providing full life cycle services for enterprises and reducing the total factor costs of enterprises.
"3" refers to the three-step strategy, which steadily realizes "flying well" - "flying steadily" - "flying far". The first is "flying well". By continuing to do a good job in the general aviation short-distance transportation pilot, actively strive to set up a larger temporary airspace (range, altitude layer) or fixed airspace in Liangping, and promote the normalization of local management of low-altitude flight approval. Vigorously promote the application of "low-altitude + industry", continuously expand aviation cultural and sports activities, develop low-altitude tourism routes, and create a number of low-altitude economic application scenarios with Liangping's recognition. The second is "flying steadily". Focus on the production and manufacturing of complete machines such as fixed-wing aircraft, drones, and eVTOL, drive the agglomeration of upstream and downstream supporting industries, introduce low-altitude economic head enterprises and leading enterprises, and actively cultivate and expand a number of specialized and new enterprises and manufacturing single champion enterprises. Actively host national exhibitions and forums, organize enterprises to participate in international and national exhibition marketing activities, make the Liangping Low-altitude Economic Development Conference exhibition brand beautiful, and continuously enhance the popularity, reputation, and influence of Liangping's low-altitude economy. The third is "flying far". Actively strengthen intergovernmental cooperation with key areas for the development of low-altitude economic industries in China, strive for strong support from relevant national ministries and municipal departments, industries, and institutions, fully integrate into the national and global air passenger (cargo) transportation network, and make greater contributions to Chongqing's construction of a new era "inland open comprehensive hub".
It is understood that with the rapid release of a series of preferential policies such as the "Ten Incentive Measures to Support the High-quality Development of Low-altitude Economy" issued by Liangping, the "1573" ideas and measures have been implemented in an orderly manner, and the development of Liangping's low-altitude economy has entered the "fast lane". The general aviation flight business volume has ranked first in the city for three consecutive years, and the application of agricultural drones is leading in the country. The eVTOL "Love in the Sky" has achieved its first global flight. On August 18, the 2nd China (Chongqing) Aerospace Business Travel Culture and Consumption Festival and the Liangping branch venue will be held in Liangping District. There will be national youth drone performance competitions, aerospace science lectures, "Children's Creation of Space and Sky Intelligence Liangping" drone light and shadow shows and other activities.
