On August 14, the reporter learned from the Tianqiao Branch of the Jinan Public Security Bureau that a family of three openly cursed each other in a village WeChat group and were administratively detained in accordance with the law.
One day in April this year, at 22:30, the mobile phones of villagers in a village in Sangzidian Street, Tianqiao District, Jinan City, suddenly rang. Many villagers who had already fallen asleep were awakened by the sudden and intensive message notification sounds. They thought something big had happened, but when they opened their phones, they saw a screen full of obscene words in the village WeChat group.

The people who made these obscene words were none other than the villagers Cui, Zhou Yu and Zhou Kai. What puzzled the villagers was that they were all from the same family.
It turned out that the three people started a verbal fight in the village WeChat group because of a family dispute. Many villagers came out to "stop the fight", but the three people cursed each other so hard that 446 villagers in the group watched the three people cursing each other for more than an hour. The three people stopped cursing because they were tired.
After the incident, with the joint mediation of the police and village cadres, the family finally put aside their differences and apologized to each other for insulting each other online.
After investigation, Cui Mou, Zhou Mouyu and Zhou Moukai confessed to their behavior of insulting others in the WeChat group. According to the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China", the three have been administratively detained by the Tianqiao District Public Security Bureau of the Jinan Public Security Bureau in accordance with the law.
Jinan Public Security Bureau reminds: The Internet is not a lawless place. Online violence denigrates others' personality, damages others' reputation, infringes others' privacy, disrupts network order, and destroys the network ecology. It is an act that violates the law.
