To commemorate the 120th anniversary of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's birth, the 20-episode micro-documentary "Red Album: The Story of Deng Xiaoping" jointly produced by the Party History and Literature Research Institute of the CPC Central Committee and the State Administration of Radio and Television will be broadcast online on August 16.

Each episode of this film is 6 minutes long. It uses photos of Comrade Deng Xiaoping in various historical periods as the basic material, supplemented by historical images, archives, and real shots. It tells the warm stories of the leader with simple images; looks back at 20 warm moments of Comrade Deng Xiaoping from the perspective of the common people; and uses easy-to-understand and touching small cuts to show Comrade Xiaoping's life of struggle for China's revolution, construction, and reform and the great contributions he made.
This film was jointly produced by the Seventh Research Department of the Party History and Literature Research Institute of the CPC Central Committee, the Network Audiovisual Program Management Department of the State Administration of Radio and Television, and the Sichuan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau. It will be broadcast online on major video websites and some local media from August 16, with one episode per day.
