Fast Technology reported on August 15th,GitHub, the world's largest code hosting platform, suffered a global outage, and Copilot was also paralyzed.
According to the latest reports, the outage affected the GitHub website and many of its services, including pull requests, GitHub Pages, and the GitHub API.
However, according to a status message released by GitHub on the evening of August 13th, Eastern Time, the company has rolled back the database infrastructure changes that caused the service interruption and announced that the service has been fully restored.
During the outage, visiting the main GitHub website displayed an error message stating that no servers were available to respond to requests.
Data from Downdetector showed that more than 10,000 users reported being affected, and internet monitoring service BetBlocks also released a message confirming that GitHub had experienced a cross-border service outage.
