Qilu.com Lightning News reported on August 15 that the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of provincial industrial Internet platforms in 2024. Eleven projects in Tai'an City were selected, including 8 key platforms, ranking second in the province in terms of the number of selected projects; in addition, 3 projects were selected as reserve platforms.
In recent years, Tai'an Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology has thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the municipal party committee and municipal government on accelerating the development of the industrial Internet, and has promoted the construction of industrial Internet platforms as the main tool for the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. It has improved the "municipal-provincial-national" tiered cultivation mechanism, and has successively reserved 12 municipal industrial Internet platforms for follow-up cultivation to support the improvement of platform construction level and application capabilities, of which 4 have grown into provincial platforms. It has continuously increased policy support and guidance, actively cultivated and built competitive industrial Internet platforms, and cultivated a total of 2 national industrial Internet platforms, 4 national industrial Internet platform innovation pilot cases, and 3 national industrial Internet pilot projects. Shiheng Special Steel was rated as a "digital pilot" enterprise, and the industrial Internet has enabled digital transformation with significant results.
In the next step, Tai'an Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will focus on the goal of full coverage of industrial Internet platforms in key industrial chains, adhere to classified policies and demand-driven measures, and promote enterprises to build and use platforms; strengthen supply and demand docking, focus on the bottlenecks and difficulties in the digital transformation of the industry and common needs, and adopt a "challenge and lead" approach to support manufacturing companies and digital transformation service providers to jointly take the lead, create a batch of application scenarios with new models, easy to apply, and easy to replicate, and drive the improvement of the overall digital level of the industry.
