Right now, at the student loan window of the Civic Center, many college students come to apply for loans accompanied by their families, and the staff carefully and patiently handles the relevant procedures for each student.
It is understood that the student-origin credit student loan is issued by financial institutions such as the National Development Bank to eligible students from economically disadvantaged families. It is processed at the place of residence of the student before enrollment. The student and the parent are co-borrowers and jointly bear the repayment responsibility. The annual loan amount applied for by full-time ordinary undergraduate and junior college students shall not exceed 16,000 yuan, and shall not be less than 1,000 yuan. The annual loan amount applied for by full-time graduate students shall not exceed 20,000 yuan. The longest loan term is the remaining school period plus 15 years, and the longest shall not exceed 22 years. The interest during the study period will be fully subsidized by the government.
According to staff from the Education and Sports Bureau of Yicheng District, Zaozhuang City, the processing period for credit-based student loans in Yicheng District this year is from August 1 to September 14. The number of people applying for loans this year is more than last year. As of August 12, a total of 1,156 people have applied for loans, with a loan amount of nearly 16 million yuan. For this reason, new window staff have been added to ensure that college students can apply as quickly as possible when they arrive.
