Recently, eight products of Shandong Chambroad Petrochemical Co., Ltd., including propylene, pentane, C5, toluene, xylene, isobutylene, benzene and isopentene, have successfully passed the audit of SGS, a third-party authoritative certification agency, and obtained the International Sustainable Development and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS) certificate, marking that Chambroad Petrochemical has successfully entered the international sustainable development and low-carbon circular economy system.
International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) is an independent multi-stakeholder initiative and certification system that supports sustainable, fully traceable, deforestation-free and climate-friendly supply chains, aiming to contribute to environmentally, socially and economically sustainable production through certification. ISCC PLUS certification covers all stages of the value chain, ensures the use of renewable materials and is an internationally recognized certification system for the mass balance approach.
The acquisition of ISCC PLUS certification indicates that Chambroad Petrochemical has the ability to supply green chemical products containing renewable and recyclable raw materials to customers, and has met high standards for sustainable development in all key links of procurement, production and sales of recycled raw materials, which can further support the green and sustainable development of many downstream industries. Under the national dual-carbon strategy and ESG practice development orientation, it will help strengthen the green and low-carbon brand image of products, accelerate international market expansion, and enhance the international market competitiveness of products.
