On the evening of August 14, Kweichow Moutai (SH600519, stock price 1,413.30 yuan, market value 1.78 trillion yuan) announced that according to relevant documents of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Guizhou Province, Xiang Ping and Zhang Xu were recommended as candidates for deputy general managers of Kweichow Moutai, and it was suggested that Tu Huabin and Wang Xiaowei no longer serve as deputy general managers of the company.

Both of them grew up from the front line

Xiang Ping is 52 years old this year and started working in July 1993. From April 2000 to August 2023, he served as director of Kweichow Moutai's winemaking workshop, director of Kweichow Moutai's wine warehouse workshop, director of the production management department, chairman of Kweichow Moutai Group Marketing Co., Ltd., chairman of Kweichow Moutai Liquor Sales Co., Ltd., and assistant to the general manager of Kweichow Moutai. From August 2023 to date, Xiang Ping has served as a member of the Party Committee, secretary, and person in charge of Heyixing Liquor Branch, and assistant to the general manager of Kweichow Moutai.

Zhang Xu is a Moutai "veteran" who grew up in the front line of sales and has been in the company for 30 years. From July 1994 to May 1997, he worked in the Supply and Marketing Company of Kweichow Moutai Distillery. From May 1997 to July 2020, he served as a salesperson, district manager, and deputy manager of Kweichow Moutai Liquor Sales Co., Ltd., and deputy general manager and general manager of Kweichow Moutai Sauce-flavor Liquor Marketing Co., Ltd.
