The performance center has a construction area of ​​nearly 4,000 square meters, with cutting-edge AI technology and application interactive experience areas, AI program holographic performance areas, AI research and training areas, and multi-format commercial areas, becoming a comprehensive venue that combines technology, education, and entertainment.

It is reported that in terms of scene functions, the exhibition and performance center is committed to becoming a science and technology literacy education center, a new consumption check-in location, and a new technology product launch venue for young people, citizens, tourists, and government agencies, enterprises, and institutions, creating a new cultural and tourism business card, a new front for popular science, and a new carrier for attracting investment for the local area.

The first holographic play of the exhibition and performance center is "Bai Ze's Fantastic Journey", the first domestic AI display experience drama independently developed by People's Daily. The theater has an offline immersive stage with a 270 surround screen and an online virtual stage based on Unreal Engine. The play deeply integrates technology with music, drama, dance, traditional culture and other elements to bring unprecedented viewing experience to the audience.
