On June 21, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of State Security, and the Ministry of Justice jointly issued the "Opinions on punishing the crimes of splitting the country and inciting splitting the country by "Taiwan independence" diehards in accordance with the law". The release of this document marks a solid step forward in punishing the "Taiwan independence" secessionist forces in accordance with the law. On August 7, the Central Taiwan Affairs Office and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council launched a special column "Punishing "Taiwan independence" diehards in accordance with the law", which clearly listed the names of 10 "Taiwan independence" diehards including Su Zhenchang, You Xikun, Wu Zhaoxie, and Hsiao Meiqin. This move is undoubtedly a strong deterrent to the "Taiwan independence" forces.

In recent years, the DPP authorities have stubbornly adhered to the separatist position of "Taiwan independence", refused to recognize the "1992 Consensus", and wantonly colluded with external forces to openly challenge national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Their actions have seriously endangered the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait and pushed the Taiwanese people to the brink of disaster. The DPP authorities headed by Lai Ching-te have pushed the "Taiwan independence" line to the extreme, not only betraying the one-China principle, but also attempting to "rely on foreign forces to seek independence" and "resist reunification by force". Their actions are outrageous and are destined to be nailed to the pillar of shame in history.

The DPP authorities are the culprit

For a period of time, cross-strait relations have taken a sharp turn for the worse and the situation in the Taiwan Strait has become tense. The root cause is that the DPP authorities have adhered to the "Taiwan independence" stance, refused to recognize the "1992 Consensus", and colluded with external forces to constantly engage in "independence" provocations, forcing Taiwan into an unprecedented predicament of extreme social division, severe economic recession, and continued decline in people's livelihood.

After the Democratic Progressive Party came to power, Taiwan's intelligence and security departments tried their best to act as the "vanguard" and "pioneer" of the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, and stepped up intelligence infiltration into the mainland. The national security organs have struck hard, cracking hundreds of cases of Taiwan espionage theft in recent years, arresting a group of Taiwan spies and their operators, and destroying multiple spy intelligence networks set up by Taiwan's intelligence and security departments against the mainland of the motherland. Before the two elections in Taiwan in 2024, Taiwan's intelligence and security departments once again acted as the thugs of the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, trying their best to hype up "the mainland's intervention in Taiwan's elections" and wantonly suppressing politicians and even ordinary people who participated in cross-strait exchanges. As the competent authority for counter-espionage work, the national security organs will carry out in-depth anti-subversion, anti-espionage, and anti-secession struggles involving Taiwan, and prevent, stop and punish the infiltration, sabotage, subversion, and separatist activities of hostile forces in accordance with the law.
