CNR Beijing August 13th news (Reporter Pang Ting) Since the beginning of this year, the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Administration has continued to deepen the special rectification action for urban gas safety, focusing on the safety and main performance technical requirements of products, insisting on problem-oriented, and increasing the intensity of product quality supervision and spot checks on bottled liquefied petroleum gas pressure regulators and gas appliance connection hoses in the sales link. Products sold in small building materials, small daily necessities, and small hardware stores were selected, and 55 batches of bottled liquefied petroleum gas pressure regulators and 5 batches of gas appliance connection hoses were found to be unqualified. Spot checks found that the structure, closing pressure, outlet pressure, mechanical strength and other items of some bottled liquefied petroleum gas pressure regulators, and the breaking performance and bending performance of individual gas appliance connection hoses did not meet the requirements of relevant national standards.
All the unqualified products found in this random inspection have been reported to the market supervision departments in the producers' locations. Beijing's market supervision departments have strictly investigated and dealt with the sellers of unqualified products in accordance with the law and regulations in accordance with the "four one by one" approach, that is, they have stopped selling unqualified products one by one, announced them one by one, filed cases against relevant business entities one by one, and urged them to make rectifications one by one. At the same time, they have guided business entities to strictly implement the "Regulations on the Supervision and Management of the Responsibility of Industrial Product Sales Units for Quality and Safety", implement the purchase inspection and acceptance system, purchase products that meet standards and market access requirements, and strictly prohibit the sale of counterfeit and shoddy products.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision reminds that a bottled liquefied petroleum gas pressure regulator is a gas equipment accessory that reduces the liquefied petroleum gas in the gas cylinder from high pressure to a fixed low pressure for use in combustion appliances. The rated outlet pressure of a household pressure regulator is 2.80kPa, and the rated outlet pressure of a commercial pressure regulator is 2.80kPa or 5.00kPa. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision recommends that when consumers purchase bottled liquefied petroleum gas pressure regulators, they should pay attention to the obvious position of the product shell, which should be printed with indelible marks such as the manufacturer's name, trademark, model, production date, service life and gas flow direction, and choose products with over-current cut-off safety devices; do not purchase or use products with adjustable output pressure and "medium pressure valves" that are not used for gas stoves.
When purchasing a hose for connecting gas appliances, pay attention to whether the product name, specifications, manufacturer name, production date, implementation standards, expiration date and other identification information are complete and clear, and the length should not exceed 2 meters; it is recommended to purchase metal-coated hoses or stainless steel corrugated hoses for connecting gas appliances that have good bending performance, strength, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance, and have a long service life, and can effectively prevent insects and rats from biting; do not buy or use "three-no" hoses or other non-gas appliance connection hoses that are not marked with product names, factory names and addresses. Use them correctly in strict accordance with the methods and precautions required by the product manual, check regularly for leaks, pay attention to the service life of the product, and replace products that have reached their service life in a timely manner to prevent safety risks caused by product aging.
