IT Home reported on August 14 that Google continued to push Android 15 system updates for Pixel devices today. Although the latest released Android 15.2 Beta 4.2 version did not bring new features, it fixed many problems in previous versions.

This update mainly solves a series of problems. These include device wake-up delays, camera UI anomalies, low camera frame rates, camera crashes, camera saturation anomalies, UI flickering, and YouTube app crashes.

Pixel device users who have joined the Android Beta for Pixel project will automatically receive OTA updates. Users who have not yet joined but have a Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, and Pixel 8 series phone can sign up for the test. IT Home needs to point out that the device must be running a public stable version of the system to join the Beta program. Users can also exit the Beta program at any time and return to the public stable version of the system, but this operation will clear all user data.

Google is continuing to improve the Android 15 system, and is getting closer to the official release.
