The overseas market for short-distance travel is still hot. Hard Krypton learned that the overseas short-distance travel manufacturer "Infanti" received 50 million yuan in A+ round of financing, and the investors are industry insiders. This round of funds will be used to increase production capacity, build overseas channels and invest in overseas marketing.

Infanti (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2012. Its products range from electric balance bikes, eScooters (electric scooters) to the currently popular E-bike (electric-assisted bicycles).

In the same year of its establishment, Infanti became the only electric unicycle brand with independent patents in the domestic market at that time and the exclusive general operator of SOLOWHEEL in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2014, Infanti began to enter the scooter and balance car market, and reached a strategic cooperation with Lenovo to launch the balance car N4, scooter M1 Plus, M2 series, etc. Among them, M1 Plus won the 2021 German iF Design Award.

In 2021, Infanti established the "Five-Wheel Travel" brand and cooperated with Huawei Hongmeng Zhilian to launch the D1 electric-assisted bicycle for fitness and travel.

The opportunity for Infanti E-bike to go overseas occurred in 2023. Based on more than ten years of accumulation of short-distance travel products and technologies, it entered the North American market with electric scooters as a major product and targeted overseas e-commerce channels.

In the field of electric scooters, when Ninebot and Xiaomi had already occupied the main market, Infanti achieved an overseas sales of 100 million yuan in just half a year, ranking second in the Kick Scooter category on Amazon's US site. In March of this year, Infanti became the top 1 Best Seller on Amazon's Canadian site.

Shi Chongyang, the founder of Infanti, told Hard Krypton that safety needs must be met in terms of products. Infanti added left and right turn signals to the scooter and upgraded the shock absorption design, which has received good market feedback. At the same time, the motor, battery, electronic control, and intelligence of the V30 Pro electric scooter have all been fully self-developed to ensure product quality.

E-bikes are still the main attraction in the short-distance travel market, which is worth hundreds of billions of yuan. However, the market has not yet been monopolized by leading brands, which also provides opportunities for all companies that provide innovative short-distance travel solutions to grow.

In the E-bike products, Infanti also has its own layout. For example, the Thunder series covers multiple scenarios such as daily commuting and off-road sports, and supports folding and storage to minimize space occupation; the Tide series focuses on light travel and sports and health scenarios; and the Tornado series, an electric-assisted cargo bike centered on the family, not only has cargo carrying capacity, but also integrates intelligent software and hardware configurations such as GPS tracking, wheel hub locks, and electronic fences to provide users with safety protection measures.

Production capacity is the reserve ammunition and hard power of E-bike startups. Infanti will complete the construction of a new factory building of 20,000 square meters in the new industrial space of Da Hengqin 5.0 in Doumen in September, and the production capacity of the first phase is expected to reach 200,000 units.

In terms of the team, the members of Infanti's R&D team come from major technology companies such as SONY, SAMSUNG, and LG, as well as industry leaders such as Ninebot, Niu, and Okey, and have rich experience in the design, R&D, manufacturing, and sales of smart short-distance transportation products. The company has obtained more than 100 patent technologies, including more than 30 core patent technologies.
