Publicly offered fund enhanced strategy ETF (Exchange Traded Open Index Securities Investment Fund) products are "newly launched". On the evening of August 12, 2024, Harvest Fund's Harvest SSE Composite Enhanced Strategy ETF was officially approved. This is also the first enhanced strategy ETF in China with the SSE Composite Index as its target.

According to Harvest Fund, Harvest SSE Composite Enhanced Strategy ETF product combines enhanced active investment with passive investment that effectively tracks the SSE Composite Index, striving to ensure that investment returns can track and moderately exceed the benchmark index.

Unlike ordinary ETFs, enhanced strategy ETFs combine the advantages of index enhancement funds and ETFs, and have two characteristics: one is that they have transparent holdings, low fees, strong liquidity, and convenient transactions; the other is that they can strive to obtain excess returns through certain active management.

In this context, in recent years, enhanced strategy ETFs have been intensively deployed by many public fund companies. In June this year, the SSE Star 100 Enhanced Strategy ETF under E Fund Management and GF Fund was officially issued. This is also the first batch of enhanced strategy ETFs in China with the SSE Star 100 Index as the underlying. (Securities Daily)
