On August 12, the 11th "CENTI Cup" Wuxi Youth Entrepreneurship Competition, co-organized by the Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Municipal Party Committee Talent Office, Wuxi Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and other departments, was launched at the Xishan Yingyue Lake Science and Technology Park in Wuxi.
"Participating in the competition is an opportunity, a urgency, and a good opportunity for publicity for me!" Gao Hao, a young entrepreneur and head of Wuxi Guangyi Technology Co., Ltd., started a business in Shenzhen after returning from studying abroad. A year ago, he was invited to return to his hometown to develop and started a smart sports company with his friends, providing AI coaches, AI sports highlights and other AI+ sports services. This time, he participated in the competition with the project "Smart sports products and services based on multimodal large models combined with software and hardware", and he is looking forward to the event.
He said that the project mainly integrates smart wearable devices and artificial intelligence systems through a combination of software and hardware, so as to provide intelligent services for sports such as football, tennis, and badminton. Among them, AI coaching services, relying on sensing equipment and artificial intelligence systems, can help coaches better grasp the status of the scene and athletes, improve training, and enhance the training level of athletes. The AI sports highlights service is mainly aimed at ordinary sports enthusiasts, and automatically generates customized personal sports highlights after the exercise, which is convenient for sharing. "For me, the two-month competition process so far has been a process of deeper understanding of the project and a process of further polishing the project. It has also made me more clear about the products and scenarios, and laid a better foundation for future entrepreneurship."
According to reports, the competition is divided into four tracks: technological innovation, digital economy, rural revitalization, and social enterprises. Since its launch, it has received positive responses from young people across Wuxi, with more than 100 projects signing up for the competition. After fierce competition in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, 65 innovative projects with broad market prospects stood out and entered the final round. Subsequently, the winners of each group will be pushed to participate in relevant provincial and national competitions to further seek development opportunities.
At the event, the relevant person in charge of Wuxi Labor and Employment Management Center introduced the entrepreneurship policy, provided policy consultation and guidance to young makers, and helped them actively apply for policy subsidies; 9 Wuxi youth entrepreneurship mentors were also hired on site, and youth entrepreneurship training camps will be held from time to time in the future to provide professional entrepreneurship guidance for young makers. In addition, Xu Biao, general manager of Jiangsu Jicui Qinglian Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd., and Gu Yuankai, director of carrier operations of CENTI GROUP, jointly gave lectures and guidance to the young makers present.
At the finals, the participating teams fully demonstrated the vigor and creativity of young entrepreneurs with their wonderful project roadshows, solid professional knowledge, and passionate entrepreneurial speeches. The Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League will continue to deepen the "Spark" plan for the new generation of entrepreneurs and the "Xiqing I Chuang" youth innovation and entrepreneurship incentive action, lead the youth to play the driving force of innovation and entrepreneurship with full-chain services, help promote the construction of the "1650" industrial system in the province and the "465" modern industrial cluster in Wuxi, and cultivate the "youth" momentum to polish the famous industrial and commercial city in the new era.
