Cao Zhenxiu was born in the 27th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1762) and died in the 2nd year of Emperor Daoguang's reign (1822). She is like a branch of elegant black plum blossoms, blooming in the long corridor of history. Her pen name is Moqin, and she calls herself the owner of Xieyunxuan. She is from Xiuning, Anhui, but she is like a duckweed floating lightly in the water town of Wumen, becoming a gentle landscape there. As the apple of Cao Rui's eye, she later married the talented Wang Qisun. The couple had similar interests and did not envy the world's glitz and glamour. They only expressed their feelings through writing and composing elegant and beautiful chapters together.

Cao Zhenxiu's talent is like a mountain spring, clear and profound. She is not only proficient in painting, but also masters calligraphy to perfection, especially in the style of Zhong Yao and Wang Xizhi. Her writing is so graceful and her words are so exquisite that all scholars are impressed and admire her. Her calligraphy seems to be able to transcend the boundaries of time and space, to talk with the ancients, and to appreciate the tranquility and beauty that transcends the world.
