China News Service, August 13: The general manager and financial director of Manulife Fund Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Manulife Fund) have changed.

Manulife Fund announced on the evening of the 12th that Gao Guixin, general manager (legal representative) and chief financial officer, resigned on the same day due to work arrangements. Ding Wencong took over as the company's general manager (legal representative) and chief financial officer.

He joined Manulife Financial in 2010 and served as Director of Group Strategic Planning, Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Greater China, and Managing Director of Strategy and Business Development for Asia Pensions at Manulife. Since 2023, he has served as Chief Financial Officer, General Manager, and Legal Representative of Manulife Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. In August 2024, he joined Manulife Fund Management Co., Ltd. as the company's General Manager (Legal Representative) and Chief Financial Officer.

According to the company's official website, Manulife Fund Management Co., Ltd. was established in June 2002 and is one of the first joint venture fund management companies in China, with a registered capital of RMB 180 million. The company has multiple business qualifications such as public fund management, special account management, QDII, FOF, etc. The actual controller of Manulife Fund Management Co., Ltd. is Manulife Financial Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Manulife Financial", and together with its subsidiaries, "Manulife Financial Group").
