Recently, the Zengcheng District Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau issued all 25 construction project planning licenses for SHEIN Group's (SHEIN) supply chain headquarters project located in the Guangzhou Eastern Road-Rail Transport Hub in Zhongxin Town, Zengcheng District. This is a milestone for the project from planning to construction.
Xiyin is an international B2C fast fashion e-commerce company and the largest cross-border e-commerce company in China. It mainly deals in women's clothing, but also provides men's clothing, children's clothing, accessories, shoes, bags and other fashion products, serving consumers in more than 150 countries around the world. It is the world's fifth largest unicorn company and one of the top 50 innovative companies in China in 2022 by Forbes. Since its establishment in 2012, Xiyin has grown into a leading global fast fashion e-commerce brand platform in just over ten years with its pioneering new operating model of "small orders, fast returns, and on-demand production".
Next, Xiyin Group plans to plan, build and operate an intelligent warehousing and logistics distribution park in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, which integrates warehousing, stocking, picking, distribution, delivery and settlement, and set up a supply chain center to provide core support for Xiyin's global sales. The first phase of the headquarters project covers an area of 738 acres, with a total construction area of no less than 800,000 square meters and a total investment of 3.69 billion yuan.
It is understood that the Zengcheng District Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau has always adhered to the principle of "full life cycle service" for the preparation and construction of industrial projects. It has intervened in advance in the early stage of project investment promotion, actively provided services, combined with the progress of project negotiations, investigated the project's land use needs, clarified the planning land timeline, and followed up on land transfer, planning plans, and construction approval throughout the process, so that companies can run less errands and ask for help during the approval process, and strive to ensure that industrial projects such as Xiyin can be smoothly implemented in Zengcheng.
