The sexual harassment case of Taiwanese artist Huang Zijiao continues to ferment, and the police have found 41 underage videos from his home.

On August 12, Huang Zijiao’s case of possessing seven underage films was re-examined at the Taipei District Prosecutors Office.

The police pointed out that they found in the seized evidence that Huang Zijiao not only possessed 7 sexual images of minors, but also sexual images of 41 underage victims, which is much larger than the scope of the prosecution's indictment.

In June last year, 52-year-old Huang Zijiao was accused of sexual assault by a woman. Police found a large number of obscene videos on a USB flash drive in his home, seven of which were secretly filmed of minors.

Huang Zijiao admitted his guilt with a good attitude, saying that he downloaded it from the Internet. He was fined NT$1.2 million in the first instance and was required to write a 1,200-word letter of repentance.

In April this year, another woman accused Huang Zijiao of molesting her when she was 17 years old. After the two parties reached a private settlement, the public was dissatisfied because the previous sentence for possessing underage films was too light, and many artists in the circle spoke out to condemn it.

In June this year, the court approved a retrial under pressure from public opinion. Unexpectedly, when Huang Zijiao appeared in court on July 15, he changed his plea and pleaded not guilty. Now 41 underage films have been unearthed, which is an aggravated crime.

The report pointed out that the 41 victims were all under 18 years old when the sexual images were recorded, and the youngest was only 11 years old. Some of the girls had just graduated from elementary school and entered junior high school. Huang Zijiao appeared in the afternoon of August 12 to defend himself against the prosecution's charges.

The case will be heard at 4 p.m. on the 12th, and a large number of media are waiting at the District Prosecutor's Office.
