On August 12, reporters learned from a press conference held by the Guangzhou Municipal Government Information Office that the 32nd Guangzhou Expo will be held in Areas A and B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex from August 23 to 26. The exhibition will set up three comprehensive exhibitions and six professional exhibitions.
It is reported that the Guangzhou Expo is a comprehensive exhibition of Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal Government. Since its establishment in 1993, it has been held annually without interruption. It has become an important exchange and cooperation platform for promoting regional coordinated and high-quality development. The 32nd Guangzhou Expo has a total exhibition area of about 120,000 square meters and about 6,000 booths. With the theme of "Innovative Development, Shared Future", it adheres to the exhibition concept of "based in the Greater Bay Area, facing at home and abroad, and serving the whole of China". This exhibition has three comprehensive exhibitions, including the Guangzhou City Exhibition, the Domestic Provinces and Cities Exhibition, and the China County Expo, as well as the 2024 Guangzhou Rural Revitalization Exhibition, the 8th Guangzhou Elderly Care and Health Industry Exhibition, the 2024 Guangzhou Medical and Health Industry Exhibition, the 9th Guangzhou Fresh Supply Chain and Cold Chain Technology Equipment and Prefabricated Food Exhibition, the 2024 Guangzhou Automotive Aftermarket Exhibition, and the 2024 Guangzhou International Elevator Exhibition. At present, all preparatory work has been basically ready.
It is worth mentioning that this exhibition focuses on cultivating and developing new quality productivity, and will hold the "Full Space Unmanned System" exhibition for the first time, displaying drones, unmanned vehicles, unmanned ships, low-altitude logistics, communications, navigation and other facilities and equipment and data service platforms, striving to provide a "Guangzhou sample" for the high-quality development of the national low-altitude economy. At the same time, this exhibition focuses on the product display of "Guangzhou Excellent Products" and the service experience of "Guangzhou Excellent Services". Focusing on the idea of "high-quality and new products", it will focus on creating the "Guangzhou Excellent Products" and "Guangzhou Excellent Services" exhibition display and service experience areas.
"At this year's Guangzhou Expo, we will present to the whole society an expo that is distinctive, green and frugal, colorful, safe and smooth. In the early stage, we went all out to organize various departments and units to work closely together and advance the event. All preparatory work has been basically completed and we have entered the process rehearsal stage." Wu Linbo, deputy secretary-general of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, said that Guangzhou is confident that it will bring a wonderful exhibition feast to all sectors of society, and welcomes friendly cities, outstanding enterprises and the general public to visit and set up exhibitions.
