Previously, the official account of Eason Chan’s “Fear And Dreams Tour” announced the postponement of the Chongqing stop of the concert.

The announcement stated that on the afternoon of June 10, Eason Chan fainted due to heat stroke while playing tennis outdoors, and his chin hit the ground and was injured. After a doctor's examination, Eason Chan had a fractured cheekbone and a ruptured chin skin. The ruptured wound was so deep that the bone was exposed, and he needed to undergo an immediate suture operation, with more than 30 stitches in total.

Doctors diagnosed that in order for the chin wound and cheekbone to heal completely, Eason Chan needs to rest for at least three weeks. Therefore, the six concerts in Chongqing originally scheduled for June 14-16 and 21-23, 2024, need to be postponed to 2025.

After Eason Chan was injured, his manager Gan Jingjing said: "Don't worry, his condition is stable and he is being treated in the hospital. After the specialist sutured his wound, he said the situation is very ideal. There should be no obvious scar on his chin in the future, and it will not affect his singing. At present, we just hope that it will heal better, so he has to stop speaking and eating for 48 hours to wait for the wound to heal. In addition, it will take some time for the fractured part to heal."
