During the same period, imports and exports to emerging markets such as ASEAN, Latin America, 17 countries in the Middle East, and 5 countries in Central Asia increased by 13%, 20.8%, 16.1%, and 31.1% respectively.

Major export commodities maintained growthIn the first seven months, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Guangdong increased by 10.9%, accounting for 64.6% of Guangdong's total export value. Among them, automatic data processing equipment and its parts, household appliances, and mobile phones increased by 17%, 17.4%, and 9.6% respectively; ships, electric vehicles, and containers grew rapidly, increasing by 53.7%, 70.2%, and 123% respectively. During the same period, the export of labor-intensive products increased by 3.2%, accounting for 14.1%; the export of steel products was 101.83 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6 times.

During the same period, imports of three types of energy products, including coal, crude oil, and natural gas, totaled 57.767 million tons, up 33.3%, with a value of 78.83 billion yuan, up 13.4%.
