Speculations about Switch 2 continue. Now the latest news says that the performance of the device may be roughly equivalent to Steam Deck.
A few days ago, the well-known technology YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead discussed this issue in his show. They mentioned that the performance of Switch 2 is expected to be consistent with Steam Deck, but games developed based on the Unreal 5 engine will most likely need to be scaled up from a lower resolution by increasing the number of pixels, unless Nintendo can bring unexpectedly powerful performance.
Moore's Law is Dead suggests that flash storage may be a bottleneck for Switch 2. On other consoles, this issue is not as big of an issue because they usually have m.2 or other SSD solutions to choose from.
Finally, Moore's Law is Dead also mentioned that there are rumors that the base of the Switch 2 will have a built-in fan. This is to provide more powerful power, thereby producing better and clearer images.
