Linzi District, Zibo City is the ancient capital of Qi State. The Qi Culture Museum in Linzi District gathers the essence of Qi State culture and is a national first-class museum. However, since it takes nearly an hour to drive from Zibo City to here, the location advantage is insufficient. Before the popularity of "Zibo BBQ" in 2023, this place has been deserted.
Recently, the "Record China" team of the School of Journalism at Fudan University (hereinafter referred to as the "Record China" team) came to Zibo for an interview and found that since the spring of 2023, The popularity of "Zibo BBQ" has boosted the "check-in" craze at Zibo Museums: the number of visitors to major museums such as the Ceramics and Colored Glaze Museum and the Qi Culture Museum has doubled. At the same time, 85 museums scattered across various districts and counties of Zibo began to "band together" and transformed the Qi culture that had been dormant in museums into cultural tourism through methods such as "big museums" helping "small museums", bringing new forms of tourism consumption through cultural tourism.
