He Chuning, a student studying in the United States from Shenzhen, won the Miss Chinese America title and also won three major awards including the Perfect Body Award, Best Evening Dress Performance Award, and Best Cheongsam Beauty Award.

The outstanding performances of the contestants showed the charm of Chinese women who are both intelligent and beautiful, and classical and modern. Especially in the talent show, He Chuning pushed the atmosphere to a climax with a Dunhuang-style Chinese dance "Rebounding Pipa", and finally won the 21st Miss Chinese America and 3 important individual awards, becoming one of the most awarded contestants in history.

He Chuning is currently studying computer-related majors at Yale University in the United States. He has been influenced by China's excellent traditional culture since childhood and is very interested in poetry and musical instruments such as flute and pipa.

When talking about his feelings about winning the award, He Chuning said in an interview with a reporter from Shenzhen Business Daily that he gained a lot from participating in this competition, "I increased my confidence, made a lot of good friends, and gained more stage experience."
