IT Home reported on August 11 that according to official news from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China,Air China's first C919 passenger aircraft made its maiden test flight on August 9The aircraft's temporary registration number is B-002M and it is scheduled to be delivered to Air China at the end of August.


On April 26 this year, Air China signed an agreement with COMAC to purchase 100 C919 aircraft from COMAC. The 100 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in batches from 2024 to 2031.

IT Home noticed that Air China’s official website announced the cabin layout of its C919 aircraft, which uses 158-seat two-cabin layout, including 8 business class seats and 150 economy class seats. C919 has the most spacious cabin layout


In addition, according to IT Home’s report on August 9, sources said C919 domestic large aircraft receives "positive feedback" from EU regulators, the prospects for obtaining EU certification in 2025 are even more optimistic.
