IT Home reported on August 11 that Mark Gurman of Bloomberg revealed in the latest issue of "PowerOn" column that this year's iPhone 16 series will not be slightly adjusted compared to the previous generation of products, while the iPhone 17 series may usher in major adjustments.

Gurman confirmed the existence of the ultra-thin iPhone 17 and wrote that the idea is to create some form of“Air”iPhone, a product between the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. He expects this new ultra-thin model to be "more popular" than the iPhone 12/13 mini and iPhone 14/15/16 Plus.

He also described some details about other future iPhone models. Gurman revealed that Apple will want to fit the performance of the Pro version into the smaller model, and the company may not be able to achieve this goal until at least 2027. With a slimmer form factor,Apple may launch an iPhone Ultra model, which is more attractive than the currently rumored iPhone 17 Slim.

Gurman also revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will not only look like the iPhone 14, but will also support Apple Intelligence, which means that the new phone is expected to be equipped with a high-performance chip.

IT Home noticed that analyst Jeff Pu claimed in May this year that Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup next year will undergo major changes, claiming that the series of models will adopt a "completely new design", while improving the front camera and introducing a smaller smart island.

Jeff Pu also said that Apple will launch a new "iPhone 17 Slim" model to replace the "Plus" model in the lineup, but this Slim model is not a continuation of the previous iPhone 12/13 mini.
