China News Service, Kuala Lumpur, August 11 (Reporter Chen Yue) Kunming Red Leaf Boys and Girls Choir held a performance at the Chinese High School in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia on the evening of the 10th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Huang Juntang, chairman of the Negeri Sembilan Chinese Assembly Hall, said that the Negeri Sembilan Chinese Assembly Hall held this event in the hope that the people of Negeri Sembilan can have a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Chinese culture and promote exchanges between the two places.
During the performance, the Hongye Choir presented many songs, especially the song medley with the theme of "horse", which was well received by the audience. With its clear timbre, wide range and beautiful sound quality, it repeatedly won the applause of more than 1,000 audiences. Local art groups from Malaysia and Negeri Sembilan also presented wonderful performances on the same stage, showing the diverse cultures of various ethnic groups in Malaysia.

Deputy President of the Federation of Chinese Associations in Malaysia, Lin Jiaquan, read the speech of President Wu Tianquan on behalf of the Federation of Chinese Associations in Malaysia, saying that this is the third time that the Red Leaf Choir has come to Malaysia to perform, especially when they first came to Malaysia in 2013, they had performed in Negeri Sembilan. He said that this fully reflects that the exchanges between Malaysia and China in various fields have made "tremendous progress" in recent years.
Huang Juntang said that the Negeri Sembilan Chinese Chamber of Commerce has always attached importance to the inheritance and protection of Chinese culture. In recent years, the exchanges between Negeri Sembilan and China have become increasingly close and cultural exchanges have been active. He hopes that through this performance, the unique culture of various parts of China can be further introduced to the people of Negeri Sembilan.
