On August 10, a Hong Kong youth study group consisting of more than 60 students from Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School and other schools went to the Datian Management Center of CCCC Kaichun Expressway to carry out a colorful and unique "Smart + Safety" transportation study and practice activity. Through on-site visits, watching films, listening to lectures, and teachers' explanations, Hong Kong young students deeply experienced the rapid development of highway construction, praised the prosperity of the motherland, and expressed their determination to study hard, strive to integrate knowledge and practice, and help the development of the motherland.
Li Hanwu, head of the research and study class of CCCC Kaichun Expressway Operation Team, introduced that the research and study activity, through the lectures of seven courses including "Ultra-fast Driving Experience", "Smart Facility Exploration" and "Bridge and Tunnel Sand Table Simulation", showed the achievements of mainland transportation development to Hong Kong youth in multiple dimensions and was well received.
During the event, Kuang Yingyi, a young interpreter from the front-line operation team of Kaichun Expressway, vividly described how CCCC was selected as one of the first pilot projects for the construction of a strong transportation nation, and a large number of major national equipment and super projects made a stunning appearance with Chinese speed, Chinese wisdom and Chinese strength, effectively fulfilling the mission and responsibility of central enterprises. Afterwards, young Hong Kong students came to the "Road Traffic Safety Decision-making and Command Center" and witnessed the intelligent operation of the "Smart Highway" system in front of the electronic screen, feeling that technology empowerment makes travel safer.
Luo Qiqing from Carmel Divine Grace Secondary School said that by learning about the construction process of world-class super projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, she paid tribute to the role models of great craftsmen who have repeatedly created miracles.
Zhai Youzheng from Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School said that this study tour integrated knowledge, experience and interactivity. The content of the course not only made him deeply feel that the rise of the motherland is unstoppable, but also guided him to learn, think and practice like the engineers of China Communications Construction Group.
