Released just two weeks ago, Fallout: London is the biggest mod for Fallout 4, completely transforming the game into a whole new world for players to explore, complete with new quests and voice actors. Since its release, Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition has become the fastest-selling game on GOG, helped by a 60% discount on GOG. The FOLON team has announced that there is now a brand new update for Fallout: London that will fix many of the bugs and issues that players have encountered.
The initial launch of Fallout: London was extremely successful, with patches quickly released to address any bugs and crashes that players were experiencing. The FOLON team put a lot of effort into this project and continues to work on it by delivering new updates for the game.
In the first 24 hours alone, the Fallout 4 mod was redeemed over 500,000 times, making it the fastest-redeemed game in GOG history.
While the mod performed well at launch, the Steam version of the game had some issues, especially since Steam had next-gen updates and players had to figure out how to roll back in order to use the Fallout: London mod.
For those who are having difficulty, the FOLON team has personally taken the time to help players with issues setting up the mod on their official Discord server. They also use the server to get feedback on how the mod is performing in the eyes of players.
With all the feedback and troubleshooting done so far, the FOLON team has released an update for Fallout: London that includes many fixes for mods. This includes fixes for broken questlines such as "The Broken Angel" and "The Skybreaker".
In addition to fixing the broken questline, they've also tweaked certain perks like "Lab Rats" and "Railroad Spine" to make them more severe than before. There are also some huge changes to the weapons in the game, with the amount of radiation in Thames reduced from 250 to 169.
Previously, some voice dialogue was missing for some characters, they have now changed that, added the missing voice dialogue for Beefy and Smythe, and fixed the ambient audio.
For those stuck on Fallout: London, GOG has published a post with instructions on how to update to the latest version, which should significantly reduce errors. The instructions may seem a little complicated, involving going into your Fallout 4 data folder and deleting specific files. However, once you're done, it will be worth it.
