Beijing News (Reporter Cao Jingrui) On August 9, the 2024 "Maker China" Beijing Small and Medium Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the Yanqing District Selection Competition of the "Maker Beijing 2024" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition came to a successful conclusion. This selection competition was divided into two tracks: the enterprise group and the maker group, attracting a total of 26 high-quality projects to compete on the same stage.

This selection competition adopts the "7+2" mode, that is, each project has 7 minutes of roadshow presentation time and 2 minutes of judges' questions and comments. The contestants fully demonstrated the innovative highlights and core advantages of their projects in cutting-edge fields such as drones, big health, big information, artificial intelligence, and new energy with refined language and vivid demonstrations. In the end, the "Easy Laboratory" project of Beijing Zhongke Haodian Technology Co., Ltd. won the first prize in the enterprise group of the competition; the "Smart Carbon Future" project won the first prize in the maker group of the competition.

Based on the district-level trials, Beijing Zhongke Haodian Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Oak Deer Technology Co., Ltd., and Flying Intelligent Control (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. from the enterprise group and Zhitan Future, Juyang CNC, and Light and Shadow Spider from the maker group advanced to the city-level trials. For these outstanding projects, Yanqing District will increase financial policy support and publicity and promotion efforts, and give priority support on the premise of complying with preferential policies for promoting employment, entering the park, entrepreneurship guidance, entrepreneurship guarantee loans, and financing docking.

Chen Ruixia, deputy director of the Yanqing District Science and Technology and Economic Information Bureau, said that small and medium-sized enterprises are an important force in promoting innovation, employment and improving people's livelihood. Holding the "Maker Beijing" competition is an important measure to promote the innovation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. By building a service platform for communication and display, project incubation and industrial and financial docking, it can better open up scenarios and integrate resources for small and medium-sized enterprises.
