Two new films were released on Chinese Valentine's Day. The animated sequel "White Snake: Floating Life" received 26.5% of the screenings on the first day, earning 94.77 million yuan at the box office, surpassing the live-action movies "Catch the Doll" and "Reverse Life" to win the championship. "White Snake: Floating Life" opened with a 60% increase in box office revenue over the 59.9 million yuan earned by "White Snake 2" on Friday. After taking into account the box office revenue of preview screenings, the cumulative total has reached 130 million yuan, making it the second domestic animation to exceed 100 million yuan this year.

The romantic film "Negatives Make Positives" starring Zhu Yilong and Qiu Tian received 17.8% of the screenings on the first day and earned 39.82 million yuan, ranking fourth on the box office list.

Xu Zheng's new film "Reverse Life" was released the day before Chinese Valentine's Day, with a box office of 38.7 million yuan on the first day, ending the 27-day championship of "Catching Dolls". On the day of Chinese Valentine's Day, "Reverse Life" had a 25.2% screening schedule and a box office of 86.55 million yuan, which was not as good as "White Snake: Floating Life" and "Catching Dolls", ranking third.

The strongest performance was the comedy "Catching Dolls" starring Shen Teng and Ma Li. On the Chinese Valentine's Day, only 14.6% of the screenings were scheduled, and the box office revenue was 93.3 million yuan, almost surpassing "White Snake: Floating Life" to become the champion again. The attendance rate of "Catching Dolls" was 26.2%, nearly twice that of "White Snake: Floating Life" and "Reverse Life".
